Meet Terry Paule
The "If it didn't happen, you wouldn't believe it" not only continues but gets crazier!
So Terry tried again to do a PIA (Personal Insolvency Agreement) by going back to the court with yet another statement of affairs. Let's just say it had all the structural integrity of a chocolate teapot in a microwave.
Some highlights of the judgement handed down:
"A factor central to Burley J’s findings was the degree of inconsistency in Mr Paule’s evidence about his asset and liabilities position."
"Mr Paule was cross-examined before Burley J on his evidence and it is fair to say that this did not go well for him. His Honour made strong adverse credit findings against Mr Paule, for reasons that are compelling."
"I consider that Burley J correctly concluded that Mr Giasoumi cannot safely proceed on the word of Mr Paule alone. In my view, the integrity of the Part X regime is in serious doubt with him as the debtor."
"That is worsened by the absence of candour and honesty on the part of Mr Paule, already discussed above."
"The strong impression that I have gleaned from the above evidence and the other material before me is that Mr Paule is likely to be quite prepared to engage in misleading and even outright dishonest behaviour if he perceives that to be a way of advancing his interests. This could extend to his statements, his actions, the contents of the documents he signs and the facts and circumstances that he deposes to."

New Update - Feb 23, 2026
Jan 2026 Update:
The "If it didn't happen, you wouldn't believe it" continues.
Terry Paule is now the FORMER Findex Chairman but still remains the self described "inspiring leader and wealth of knowledge and experience", who was found guilty of breaching his fiduciary duties as a director by a NSW Supreme Court.
Is that why he is no longer a Director of Findex?
Why would the inspiring leader no longer be
on the board?
As we know he thought the courts decision can't be right and there was no way he was going to hand over one cent to the poor victims and real, actual founder of Botanical Water Technologies. With all his "wealth of knowledge" he choose to waste the courts time and a lot of his money appealing to any court he could.
So now he's done a Part X or Personal Insolvency Agreement. As the court noted, he's gone from owing nobody other than a few debts to $371,519,139.07, all but $200k incurred in the last 2 months Hmm.... AND $200m of which is the debt owing to "ex-wife" for a divorce that occurred in 2016, but continued to live together.... Hey look, there is a debt for litigation in November 2025 for US$93,000,000 to a company owned by his secretary, who also lent him $15,000 at the same time. I can't make this up! I'm sure it meets the Crimes Act 1958 (s314) and Oaths & Affirmations Act 2018 (s36)
